Stanislaus Senior Foundation Announces Contribution, Matching Gift to Help Seniors

The Stanislaus Senior Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of elderly citizens, on Tuesday announced it will donate $10,000 to longtime community partner Advancing Vibrant Communities (AVC). Additionally, an anonymous donor contributed a $10,000 matching gift, bringing the total contribution to $20,000. It will enable AVC volunteers to continue helping seniors stay in their homes safely and longer into their lives. AVC frequently constructs wheelchair ramps, installs grab bars, installs heating/air conditioning and other amenities. It also helps with gardening and other household projects.

The Stanislaus Senior Foundation, founded in 2008, advocates for vulnerable seniors as well as raising funds to provide needed goods and services.
